How to create infinity in a finite space? How to create many from one?
Just add a few mirrors.
Inspired by Indra's Magnificent Jeweled Net concept from Buddhism. In Gödel, Escher, Bach, Douglas Hofstadter uses Indra's net as a metaphor for the complex interconnected networks formed by relationships between objects in a system—including social networks, the interactions of particles, and the "symbols" that stand for ideas in a brain or intelligent computer.
"Imagine a multidimensional spider's web in the early morning covered with dew drops. And every dew drop contains the reflection of all the other dew drops. And, in each reflected dew drop, the reflections of all the other dew drops in that reflection. And so ad infinitum. That is the Buddhist conception of the universe in an image."
— Alan Watts
Each node, representing an individual, simply reflects the qualities of all other nodes, inferring the notion of ‘not-self’ or a lack of a solid and real inherent self, as seen in the Advaita Vedanta school of Hinduism and Buddhism in general.
The fact that all nodes are simply a reflection of all others implies the illusory nature of all appearances. Appearances are thus not reality but a reflection of reality.
THE dodecahedron & Φ
The animation is also showing the Big Bang happening in a “multiverse simulator device” shaped as a dodecahedron. Later we see the macroscopic distribution of matter in the universe.
According to a recent theory the Universe could be a dodecahedron. It is surprising that Plato used a dodecahedron as the quintessence to describe the cosmos! Plato also stated that time had a beginning; it came together with the universe in one instant of creation.
Of the fifth Platonic solid, the dodecahedron, Plato obscurely remarked, "...the god used [it] for arranging the constellations on the whole heaven". The dodecahedron corresponds to the universe because the zodiac has 12 signs corresponding to the 12 faces or possible vectors of the dodecahedron. The dodecahedron and its geometry also hides a lot of instances of the sacred proportion phi.
Pacioli devotes the second part of his book De Divina Proportione, published around 1509, to the Platonic solids. He writes: As God brought into being the celestial virtue, the fifth essence, and through it created the four solids . . . earth, air, water, and fire ... so our sacred proportion gave shape to heaven itself, in assigning to it the dodecahedron . . . the solid of twelve pentagons, which cannot be constructed without our sacred proportion. As the aged Plato described in his Timaeus.
I love and study the golden proportion very much. i believe it is an essential part of the creative process of universe, so A stylized version of the letter Φ is displayed on the goggles.
"My mind was formed by studying philosophy, Plato and that sort of thing."

"An analysis of astronomical data suggests not onlythat the universe is finite, but also that it has a specific, rather rigid topology (dodecahedral sphere). If confirmed, this is a major discovery about the nature of the universe."
— George F. R. Ellis, "The Shape of the Universe," Nature, Vol. 425, October 9, 2003,
"The standard model of cosmology predicts that the universe is infinite and flat. However, cosmologists in France and the US are now suggesting that space could be finite and shaped like a dodecahedron instead. They claim that a universe with the same shape as the twelve-sided polygon can explain measurements of the cosmic microwave background – the radiation left over from the big bang – that spaces with more mundane shapes cannot"
— J-P Luminet et al. 2003 Nature 425 593
the cube
At the end of the animation we can see the creator lost in his own creation. A hall of mirrors in the shape of a cube. A single being is reflected infinitely and creates the illusion of in-divi-duality. The cube symbolizes matter. It is the only regular hexahedron and is one of the five Platonic solids. The cube is a three-dimensional square; it is a symbol of stability and permanence, of geometric perfection, it symbolizes the final stage of the cycle of immobility and is understood as a building block of all simple matter.
blue and red pill
I don't think this needs to be explained nowadays. thank you, wachowskis.
„I believe we are a species with amnesia, I think we have forgotten our roots and our origins. I think we are quite lost in many ways. And we live in a society that invests huge amounts of money and vast quantities of energy in ensuring that we all stay lost. A society that invests in creating unconsciousness, which invests in keeping people asleep so that we are just passive consumers or products and not really asking any of the questions.“
— Graham Hancock
