This is a continuation of a series in which I want to highlight the most important event in the world each year. The first one is illustrating Covid pandemic and was made in May 2021. It is listed on Foundation. This piece is dedicated to the brave defenders of Ukraine and all the victims of this senseless and cruel war. You are fighting not only for your country, but for a better future for all of us. Thank you. We won't forget. The artwork shows the surrounded soldiers in Mariupol hiding, fighting and dying in the Azovstal steel plant, which was hit daily by grenades, rockets and phosphorus bombs. 25% of the sale will be sent to help Ukraine.
